It was a busy weekend with emergency service work. After a few board ups and window repairs, we're back at it on President's Day to help out with anything that you might need! Today I was went to Wawa to get a nice hot cup of coffee. To me, there's nothing better than a 20oz hazelnut coffee with a splash of whole milk. Some people are into a ton of sugar of just regular old black coffee but that's definitely not for me. If I'm not at Wawa in the morning, I'm probably making my own cup of hazelnut at home! It's nice enjoying a cup of coffee at home because you can sit back, relax and enjoy the moment.More people should wake up early just to enjoy the peace and quit that we don't get very often these days.

It's a rainy day today in Philadelphia! Today we have an insulated glass door to fabricate and install. With our in house machinery and equipment, same day insulated glass repairs are a breeze! We'll be working hard today to make sure all of our customers are happy. Now it looks like we have another emergency glass repair we will be taking care of. Busy day at JD Glass & Door Co.! Unfortunately our friends over at Little Caesar's Pizza and Domino's Pizza had people smash their glass doors. While on site, we were sure to clean up all of the glass shards left behind by the intruder. One door we installed tempered safety glass and the other was installed using laminated safety glass, which breaks like a car windshield.

Good Morning Philadelphia! It's been a beautiful start to the 2018 year especially with the Eagles bringing home their first Super Bowl victory in the history of the franchise!

For us, it's been a pretty busy year to start off. Unfortunately there have been a lot of people's doors falling off. Over time, a doors pivots or hinges can be susceptible to failure because the abuse from the elements. In these cases we install full surface hinges that remedy the issue and leave your door operational for years to come. These repairs are a permanent fix. Well, it's been a long time since we had glass and door company have posted anything on our blog sorry for not keeping you updated on our recent projects. We have been busy doing a few commercial buildings and retrofitting new windows in old openings. I will supply you with some pictures shortly hope all has been well with anyone following our blogs if anyone, look forward to all our new customers coming in 2016.
